I am still reading The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. The characters, Reynie and Sticky have become messengers. Becoming a messenger is a big thing, it was part of their mission. Being a messenger means you will end up knowing a lot more about this "school" they call the Institute. Because they became messengers they were able to see "The Whisperer" which is this mysterious contraption that calms you down and is starting to make Reynie and Sticky want to stay - which is a bad thing. I think it's bad because once they get all the information they will have to leave the Institute to get all the information to the coach of their mission, Mr. Benedict. Sticky and Reynie won't want to go, they will want to stay and become a teacher or somebody who works at he Institute so that they could stay there and be with "The Whisperer". It is kind of like smoking in that they are aware that it is bad for them but they still want to stay. Most smokers know that they shouldn't be smoking but it is addicting so they continue to do so.
"The Whisperer" consists of a seat on one side with a blue helmet above it and behind the chair there is another helmet but red. It looks like a beauty-salon hair dryer to the children when they first step into the room. The messenger sits in the seat and metal handcuffs come around their hands and the helmet comes on top of their head. The head/founder (Mr. Curtain) of the Institute is in a wheelchair so he scoots up behind the chair and the red helmet comes onto his head. "The Whisperer" is all about thoughts, so when Mr. Curtain thinks some special saying (like poison apples poison worms) it goes to the messenger so the messenger thinks these thoughts. As the messenger thinks these thoughts at the same time without knowing it they are projecting these thoughts to the rest of the world. Everyone outside of the institute is hearing this kid's voice saying these special sayings.

My prediction
The book I am reading is called
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. In this book there are
four children named Reynie, Sticky, Constance, and Kate. They are on a secret
mission. I am halfway through the book now and I think that somehow by the end
of the book they will escape from the institute and get caught again but by
then they will know a lot and somehow they will escape and go back to Mr. Benedict.
I have thought of this by only looking at the names of the chapters.

My Favorite Book I Read Over The Summer
The book I read over the summer is called, The People of Sparks by Jeanne DuPrau. It is the second book of Ember. I think this is my favorite book I read over the summer because it is fiction, I love fiction. The other 2 books that I read from the list were nonfiction, I don't like to read nonfiction as much as fiction.
I think The People of Sparks was interesting. It was almost as good as the first book (The City of Ember). It was the first book I read this summer the other ones that I didn't like as much I read second and third. It was almost like a realistic fiction book but i knew it wasn't. this book had some exciting parts like a huge tree catching on fire and a person stuck in the tree (they were saved).
The other books I read this summer did not have any exciting in them, they all had this vegetable had this history and this one had that, and other historical nonfiction. In these situations the fiction book is always my favorite choice.
